THE GEORGE AGRICULTURAL SHOW PROUDLY PRESENTS:
THE DANCE OFF CHAMPIONSHIPS…
THE PURPOSE of the CHAMPIONSHIPS is to provide an elevated platform for those exceptional young dancers in the Garden Route to gain more experience; to help them push themselves harder, and to help them strive for a more polished performance with even better technique; encouraging them to work to their highest possible standards.
There will be 2 rounds to choose our best 2 dancers from each category. The top 2 will move on to the final round of the Championships that will be taking place on the show grounds in front of our 3 judges.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Competitors must perform 1 routine of choice from the following categories.
- Contemporary
- Jazz
- Modern
- Lyrical
- Musical Theatre
- Ballet
- Acrobatics
- HipHop
AGE GROUPS
- 7 and under
- 12 and under
- 16 and under
- 18 and under

MUSIC REQUIREMENTS
- A HIGH-QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL recording of each candidates music ‘will be required. The music be cut to the correct length of maximum 2 minutes and it start and end at the correct place,
- Music to sent through via WhatsApp to 0835083772 in mpg format ONLY.
This must be done at the time of registering or by the Latest, 1 week prior to the competition date, - Each dance item must be correctly titled:

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS for those entering ONLINE
- Each dance item must be correctly titled.
- A HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL of each candidate’s dances will be required.
- One video per dancer.
- Videos to be sent via WhatsApp to 0835083772 in mp4 format ONLY.
- This must done at the time of registering or by the latest 1 week prior to the competition.

Dancers will be notified via personal message if they will go through to the second round. If you have not received a response within 5 days after the first round, please know that you have unfortunately not be chosen to compete in the finals.
